The Multi-Point Inspection is performed in order to confirm that the unit is functioning at its best. The primary goal of an inspection is to identify and address any potential issues that may be present before they become more serious and correct those issues. It is extremely important to have your unit inspected regularly to ensure optimal performance and ensure the unit is providing clean water.

A multi-point inspection service includes?

  • Testing the water and hardness levels - this determines how well the unit is functioning and what adjustments may need to be made.
  • Inspecting the media for any damage, most often caused by hard water.
  • Checking the salt level in the brine tank - this ensures the unit is allowed to regenerate properly.
  • Checking the valve and the unit’s settings - this optimizes the softener/conditioner’s performance.
  • Inspecting drains and check for leaks - this involves the hoses and fittings and checking all remaining components for corrosion associated with the wear and tear, that happen over time.
  • Inspecting all electrical components - this typically includes the control panel and/or circuit board. The tech will also check the history of the unit, along with the time. They will make any adjustments if needed.

Benefits of this service:

A comprehensive inspection allows for a thorough assessment of the water softener system. It helps identify any existing or potential issues, such as leaks, clogs, valve malfunctions, or worn-out components. Detecting problems early on enables prompt repairs, preventing further damage and costly repairs down the line.

  • Optimize Performance
    • During the inspection, the technician can evaluate the performance of the water softener, including water flow, regeneration cycles, salt usage, and resin bed effectiveness. By identifying any inefficiencies or suboptimal settings, adjustments can be made to optimize the system's performance, ensuring efficient water softening and resource usage.
  • Ensures the System is Functioning Properly
    • It helps ensure that the resin bed is removing the hardness minerals effectively and that the water quality meets your expectations. This is particularly important for individuals who rely on soft water for various purposes, such as drinking, cooking, or protecting appliances.
  • Extend the Lifespan of the Water Softener
    • By identifying and addressing issues promptly, the overall wear and tear on the system can be minimized. This can prevent major failures and the need for premature replacement, saving you money in the long run.
