How to Change Filters on Pure Blue (PB) Dual Stage System

Today we will be going over the steps on how to change the Dual Stage Filters on your Pure Blue Dual Stage system.

Prepare your area by placing towels or paper towels beneath your system to catch any remaining water.

Please note that unless you have ordered PLUS filters, both filters are the same and require no designation. If you ordered the PLUS filters, the one labeled sediment is the Pre filter and the one labeled PLUS is the post filter.

The first step is to shut off the water supply to your system. Locate the shut off valve for your feed and turn it off.
Next, release the pressure in your system by opening the spigot and letting it drip. Once the dripping has stopped, close the spigot.
Remove the old filters by turning them CLOCKWISE until filters are clear of the manifold.
Now it is time to install the new filters. Begin by removing the yellow cap on top of the filter. Install the new filters into the appropriate slots and turn the filter Counter Clockwise until the filter is hand tight.
With the spigot open and the new filters installed, turn the feed back on. Once there is a thin drizzle from the spigot, turn the spigot back off and wait 10 minutes, checking thoroughly for any leaks.
If no leaks have been detected after 10 minutes, open the spigot and complete the final flushing procedure.
Let the system run for 10 minutes with the spigot open and the feed valve on in order to flush the new filter.
After 10 minutes, close the spigot.
Your Pure Blue Dual Stage Drinking Water System is ready to be used again.
